When your debit or credit card gets stolen you should immediately contact your bank and block the cards. Otherwise you run the risk of robery.

The block comes into place right after your notification.
After that time you are insured and secured against a theft from your account
Make sure to carry the hotline with you.
Always make sure to protect your pin-code.
Never carry a paper with the pin-code of your card with you.
Don't accept help from people at ATM's or let other people watch you typing your code.
